I don't do (yet) much carphotography, although I do have some plans for the near future...
most of the time I spent in the studio.

My gear: a Nikon D70s with some glass, a Mamiya RB67 and a Technical Camera (Cambo SCII) and of course some flashlights
Soon the D70s will change for a D200

.

I started 15 years ago with Minolta and stayed with it al this time, it's difficult ($$$€€€) to switch to another brand as all the lenses have to be replaced also...

My gear:

Minolta 7D
Minolta 20/2.8
Sigma 28-70/2.8
Sigma 70-200/2.8
Minolta 400/4.5
+ flash, polarfilters, Gitzo monopod, Sandisk CF-cards.

Everybody seems to go digital these day's..
Well i'm one of those old analogue farts.
i'm Leica enthusiast too. have R9 reflex with 4.0-35/70 and 2.8-24 prime.
I shoot with Velvia diafilm only and have the Leica Pradovit RT-m projector equipped with one of the best lenses the vario elmaron pro 1:3.5/100-300.
I'm not really that big into photography but occasionally i like to go out and see what crosses my way and what happens.
projection can be up to great distance, and gives about 2 by 3 mtrs pictures on my wall. I just love it this way.
the resolution is so extreme that any small fault is to be seen.
So have still a lot to learn! i'm just very humiliated most of the time ha ha.

this 360CS at Zandvoort 2005 taken with our Nikon 7900 digital btw

- M 100-200 f/4.5

Always loved this camera, but tomorrow.... Well, I'll tell you then

You already had it in your hands without power, with batteries it's a whole lot nicer

Question Pola filte

Can somebody explain to me how to use pola filters and which effect they have on your pics ?
I own a Fuji S2 Pro SLR and have a range of Tamron lenses basically covering 11mm-200mm. In some of my car pics I see some glass reflections that I think could be prevented with an additional filter.
Any advice on which filter to purchase ?
Circular filter ?
Filter kit ?
Which brand ?
Thanks in advance

If you want good quality multilayered coating is a must. And for digital cameras the filter must be circular. A good choice are B+W MRC filters, but they are expensive. The same optical quality (but a little less build quality) is available with the Hoya Pro1 series. The latter you can buy for a good price (even incl shipping to NL!) in Hong Kong, on hvstar.net. I bought my filters there and delivery was quite fast
