Smile where is the battery in my 355 GTB?

Want to connect my battery charger to keep the battery loaded when I do not use my 355 GTB from 1998, but where did they hide it?

The owners manual does nog give me the right information and i do not want to tak ethe complete car apart to find it. Who knows where it is?

Thanks!

In the 8-cylinder cars it is normally in the passenger footwell. Not 100% sure on the 355 but that's where I would start my search.

I beleive that its in the very front of the car, thus below the bonnet and I also beleive that its on the left side. To reach the battery have to remove a cover on top of the battery.

I found the battery, it is in the front, right side, basically below the CD-changer and front headlamp. It is not possible to reac it, only when you remove the from right wheel!

I do not need to change the battery, I just want to connect the battery (car) to my batteru charger to keep it loaded when I do not use the car. Any tips where I can connect the charger?

That will be hard. If you search with a testbulb for a constant plus in the fusebox just above the battery than you can use that, but I remember that there is no constant plus.. at least not in my 348TS

I have found it in the meantime. The plus and minus can be foubnd in the back, under the cover. This need to be removed first. Than you see a small box whihc can be opened.

Thats right, but remember you cannt use the mainswitch in the front because you disconnect the battery from the rear connector. if thats no problem than you have your sollution.

Default batt 355

be carefull, i read in several treads that connecting to plus and minus found in the back, could potentially be harmfull to the ECU's and some say its better to disconnect with the switch and load directly via battery itself

just a hint...
