I like the Merak SS very much. The Bora (see above in yellow) is not too bad either

Of course do I like Maserati a lot. Its the Italian gentlemen on wheels. I need the Quattroporte for my travelling and the F40 for the weekend fun. Actually when I looked after something more than my Alfa's in the early ninetees I fanceed the Merak SS because of its buity and the Bora because of its 320 HP 8 cylinder sound. I still buy my new Alfa's at the Alfa dealer S.Maasland in Voorburg/NL who were the first Maserati importer and remained Maserati specialist untill only a few years ago when the part owner who worked on the old models passed awayand. I still have their brochure displaying the Merak, Bora, Khamsin and I beleive the Indy. By the way, S. Maasland was also the first importer of Ferrari for the Netherlands. I only do not appreciate the Bi-turbo models (like Jeremy C.)

I also like Maserati. Not so much as Ferrari, but it's also a very nice brand. My favourite model is the Quattroporte

Maserati has finally found the right track. I didn't like the 3200 and 4200 GT , but the Quattroporte and especially the Gran Turismo are both amazing goodlucking cars. After the gearbox-thing with the Quattroporte was solved , they now probably have the best salooncar in the world. I don't know if the Gran Turismo is fun to drive, but man does it look good. Could have been a Ferrari , don't blame me for saying that. I actually think the Gran Turismo would have been a way better 612

Maserati is O.K. Later models have Ferrari technics, no problem, early models are more complicated as a Ferrari. Much more electronics, so they are not so reliable as a Ferrari..
