Thumbs up Oldtimer Grandprix 2009 7-9 august

Upcoming weekend starts our holiday, we first will bivouac near the circuit with the camper to beholds the race-'violence' , are there other people going this direction too, it's an event not to miss!

The weather spoiled the event. Here a few of the total of 34 pictures I took.

Well, no or nearly no fog today. The event used to be THE Ferrari-event in the late 80's, as I used to visit it, but it's far from that this year (and the past year). I probably spent 2 hours there, there was not going on very much to my opinion; OK, the travel to there and back was nice ! I think it will be the last time I visited this event.

That's just too bad. Nice pics nonetheless: love the "Triple Testa"-shot

Depending on your reason to vist the OGP it can be great or boring. When you come to see Ferraris, it's boring. When you come to see great machines from the past racing, it's great.

I fully agree on that. In the 80's (I'm getting old...) this was the only Ferrari-event and you could find a line-up with 8 F40's, 2 GTO's and aprox. 300-400 Ferrari's of all kinds. Nowadays you'd better visit the Ferrari-days I asume.
