Question Wanted: Dino GTS, at the time Blue

A good Italian friend of mine is on behalf of her father looking for his former Dino GTS. They've sold the car in the 1980s to an actor in Hilversum. Until now both the engine- and chassisnumber are unknown. At time of the sale the car was blue. The man, now aged 66, is living in Sicily and is coming to Holland this December. He'd love to see his old Dino once more.

The search looks like a needle-in-a-hay-stack but I've seen more wonders happen on this site! I've tried to gain access to the site Ferrari Registry NL, yet until now without success. Is this car still in Holland? Can anyone help!

Hi Kees, do you have a registration for me?

I've got seven different Dutch Dino's in blue.

Question

Hi Marcel, the only registration we have is an Italian one: CA 122354. I don't think that could help us much. Although, an Italian Dino sold in Hilversum in the 1980s, how common is that?

That does make the search a lot harder. Perhaps one of the Talio Boys can share some more information on this car.

Kees, good luck with the search. I'm sorry I can't be of any assistance

Please do check that you're in the English section of this beautiful site and, therefor, need to write in English

Kees,

Maybe this can be of some assistance to you:

www.dinoregister.com

and enter search "blue" or maybe "kroymans"...

(Period) pictures would help together with more details of the car... By example colour of interior , which seats ("daytona-seats"?) Did it have campagnolo wheels etc...

Good luck!

Maarten

If the Italian man goes to the registrationbureau in the city where that car was licenced, the can mostlikely give him the serialnumber and then it will be much easier.
